Meet Our Fifth Round of Featured Guests!

We are excited to announce the next round of featured guests for the 2025 festival! Meet these incredible comics creators, along with the first, second, third and fourth rounds of featured guests announced already, and the rest of our extraordinary exhibitors, at the Mattamy Athletic Centre on Saturday, June 7 from 10AM - 7PM EST and Sunday, June 8 from 10AM - 5PM EST.


Montreal-based Boum's many works include A Small Revolution, the long-running, award-winning series Boumeries, and The Jellyfish — nominated for the 2025 Doug Wright Awards for best book.


Thomas Blais-Leblanc (Thom) was born in Montréal in 1993. He studied cartooning at UQO, where he began VII, the first of his Silent Fables series which won the prestigious Réal-Fillion Award for Best Debut in 2018. His most recent book Botanica Drama was nominated for the Quebec Booksellers Prize.


Montreal-based cartoonist D. Boyd hails from Saint John, New Brunswick—the setting for her first graphic memoir, Chicken Rising. Her work's appeared in the New Brunswick Chapbook Series and The Montreal Review of Books, and her latest, Denniveniquity, is a darkly humorous coming-of-age tale.


James Albon is an award-winning illustrator, writer and graphic novelist in Edinburgh, Scotland. Graphic novels include Love Languages (2025), The Delicacy (2021) and A Shining Beacon (2019), and he often illustrates for clients like The New York Times, The Guardian, and Libération.


Connecticut's Maria Scrivan's syndicated comic, Half Full, appeared daily in newspapers nationwide for a decade. Her comics have appeared in MAD Magazine, Parade, and many others. Nat Enough, her debut graphic novel, was an instant NYT bestseller and launched a six-book series.


Michael Grover is an Eisner and Harvey Award-nominated cartoonist and animator. He wakes up every morning and goes to sleep every night. He lives in a house with his wife and kids. He wants to make a lot of comics before he dies. Read Deeply Dave online at deeplydave.com.
