We are excited to announce the next round of featured guests for the 2025 festival! Meet these incredible comics creators, along with the first, second and third rounds of featured guests announced already, and the rest of our extraordinary exhibitors, at the Mattamy Athletic Centre on Saturday, June 7 from 10AM - 7PM EST and Sunday, June 8 from 10AM - 5PM EST.
Jay Odjick is an artist/writer/television producer from the Kitigan Zibi Anishinabe community in Quebec. His graphic novel Kagagi: The Raven was adapted as an animated series on APTN and he's the host of the 2025 Doug Wright Awards.
One of Spain’s most successful contemporary illustrators, María Medem began self-publishing fanzines after completing her fine arts studies. Her latest, Land of Mirrors, is a hero’s journey of love and hope, seeped in flamenco rhythms and published by Drawn & Quarterly.
Magnus Merklin is a Danish illustrator, comic artist, typeface designer, and teacher. His comic Coffee Brake was nominated for Best Debut in Denmark. Now based in Portugal, he's the creator of Disconnect—a graphic novel about grief, music, and friendship, now in development for animation.
Brooklyn's Anna Meyer is an artist/author/designer who loves climbing, congregating in the kitchen and coffee. Saint Catherine follows a young woman who skips Sunday mass for the 1st time and is forced to confront a lifetime of Catholic guilt—plus a demon hell-bent on possessing her.
Portland's Aron Nels Steinke is a former teacher and the creator of the bestselling Mr. Wolf's Class series. Publisher's Weekly calls Speechless, his latest work, "A heartwarming and visually enticing graphic novel that lauds imagination and self-expression."
