We are excited to announce the first round of featured guests for the 2025 festival! Meet these incredible comics creators, along with the rest of our extraordinary exhibitors, at the Mattamy Athletic Centre on Saturday, June 7 from 10AM - 7PM EST and Sunday, June 8 from 10AM - 5PM EST.

Faith Erin Hicks is an Eisner-winning, NYT bestselling writer and artist in Vancouver, BC—and the TCAF 2025 poster artist (to be revealed soon!). Works include The Adventures of Superhero Girl, Pumpkinheads (with Rainbow Rowell), One Year at Ellsmere, Ride On, and Hockey Girl Loves Drama Boy.

Kate Beaton rose to fame with her sharp, historical webcomic Hark! A Vagrant. She’s since garnered Eisner, Ignatz, Harvey, and Doug Wright awards, and Publishers Weekly named her graphic memoir Ducks: Two Years in the Oil Sands one of their 10 books of the year.

Cole Pauls is a Champagne and Aishihik Citizen and Tahltan artist, illustrator & printmaker from Haines Junction (Yukon Territory). His new work we see stars only at night is a surreal landscape playing with the connection between land, regalia, performance and heritage.

Born in Québec City, Guy Delisle now lives in the south of France and is best known for his travelogues about life in faraway countries, Burma Chronicles, Jerusalem, Pyongyang, and Shenzhen. His new work Muybridge is a biography about Eadweard Muybridge—the man who made pictures move.

NYC’s Gigi Murakami is an Ignatz-nominated manga artist, illustrator, and writer at the intersection of horror media, alternative nerd culture, and (schlocky) film. Her work blends manga, grindhouse, and pulp comic aesthetics with dark, fantastical, and introspective themes.

Check back soon for more updates as TCAF 2025 approaches! See you at the Mattamy Athletic Centre, June 7 - 8.
