Welcome to the TCAF
Volunteer Portal!

Here are some Tips & Tricks to make your TCAF volunteer experience the best!
TCAF can involve some manual labour (such as moving boxes with assistance) for those who are able. Volunteers will interface with attendees, artists, publishers, and other members of the TCAF staff team. There are many different volunteer activities: we want to find one that helps you shine best! You can learn more about the roles that volunteers can fill here.
What to wear:
Plan to change into a volunteer T-shirt upon arrival. Leave valuable items at home, as there will not be a locked room in which to store them while you are working. Volunteering at TCAF involves lots of walking and standing, so wear comfortable shoes.
What to bring:
It is recommended to bring a water bottle and snacks (peanut and nut-free please). We will provide some small nut-free snacks and water on site. Volunteers are encouraged to bring larger meals from home if needed, or welcome to leave the area to buy food if desired.
Remember to take breaks:
We trust you to know when you need to take a break! Just let our volunteer team leads (Lead Volunteers or Volunteer Coordinator) know when you are ready for a new task. TCAF can be loud and busy, so pace yourself, and feel free to take a breather whenever you need.
Communicate!
Is there a specific task you enjoy or you want to try something new? Do you need a break? Do you need to leave early? No problem! Let our volunteer teams know. We need your help to make sure your TCAF experience is fun.
