Catherine is an attorney practicing U.S. and Canadian immigration law in Toronto. Catherine’s diverse client portfolio includes agencies, management companies and professionals in the fine arts and performing arts industries, including Emmy nominees and GRAMMY and JUNO award-winning artists. Catherine has also served as an international consultant for the Norwegian Refugee Council. 

 

She has authored immigration research papers published by Rice University’s Baker Institute and participated in the Institute’s project proposing immigration reform to the Biden Administration.  Her articles have appeared in The Globe and Mail, Canadian Musician Magazine and The National Post. Prior to establishing her own firm, Catherine worked for Fragomen in Chicago, as well as the International Organization for Migration and the Nansen Initiative for Cross-Border Displacement in Geneva. Catherine holds a J.D. from the University of Michigan, where she received the Hessel E. Yntema Award in International and Comparative Law and the Dean’s Public Service Award.
