It's a night of literary entertainment as comic artist and illustrator Jillian Tamaki (Skim) launches her first collection, GILDED LILLIES, with authors Tanya Chapman (King) and Ryan Arnold (The Coward Files). Gilded Lillies collects many of Tamaki's illustrations for magazines such as the New York Times, Entertainment Weekly, the CBC and The New Yorker, as well as new drawings, and includes numerous comics stories. It's a wonderful collection now on sale at The Beguiling, and Jillian's recent artistic collaboration with her cousin Mariko Tamaki, SKIM, won an Honourable Mention at the 2006 Doug Wright Awards. This should be a really great event, don't miss out!
